Christian Gerhaher and Gerold Huber have re-recorded Schubert's unique song cycle Die schöne Müllerin after an interval of fourteen years, this time with the addition of five poems from Wilhelm Müller's cycle that Schubert did not set to music [Der Dichter, als Prolog ; Das Mühlenleben ; Erster Schmerz, letzter Schmerz ; Blümlein vergißmein ; Der Dichter, als Epilog] but which are read here by Christian Gerhaher.
