Description
Using high-tech cameras and dramatic time-lapse photography, this video reveals the dynamic web of life at Yellowstone, one of America's most cherished national parks. Its breathtaking mountain forests of evergreen and aspen set a spectacular stage for the drama of survival in the wild. Several intriguing inhabitants - a new grizzly bear mother; an efficient hunting pair of great grey owls; and a trio of industrious beavers - each play a unique role. Living off the forest's riches, paths cross in ways that are triumphant for some and tragic for others. Yet in the end, all must confront nature's brutal bag of tricks: fire, drought, sub-zero temperatures, and impossibly deep snow. Here in the splendor of America's West, nature's forces have sculpted a rugged wilderness where complex relationships build and bind the balance of Yellowstone.
