Description
NOVA visits Ground Zero to witness the construction of One World Trade Center, the skyscraper rising up 104 stories and 1,776 feet from the site where the Twin Towers once stood. It considers the architectural challenges of designing the building specifically to withstand terrorist attack while also meeting aesthetic demands. It considers the role of the building, and the nearby Memorial and Museum, in showing resilience and prompting remembrance.
