Description
Guns N' Roses was formed in Los Angels, California in 1985 and has come to epitomize Rock 'n' Roll with glorious excesses and captivating showmanship. With members Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagen, and Steve Adler, they will forever be thought of as one of the world's most iconic bands. With the release of their albums "Use Your Illusion I & II", the band cemented their place in music history, becoming the first group ever to occupy the top two positions on the Billboard 200 chart. Guns N' Roses have been credited with reviving the mainstream popularity of rock music, at a time when popular music was dominated by dance music and pop metal. The late 1980s and early 1990s have been described as the period in which they brought forth a "hedonistic rebelliousness" reminiscent of the early Rolling Stones, a reputation that had earned them the nickname "The Most Dangerous Band in the World."
