Description
Many bilingual families and therapists are struggling to navigate culture and language barriers as well as Early Intervention telehealth services. In this video seminar, speech-language pathologist Jennifer Gray demonstrates how to serve bilingual families in Early Intervention settings with proficiency. She discusses the roles of parent and therapist in Early Intervention bilingual homes; considers the role of interpreters; looks at parent coaching, discussing if the child or the family is the client; and presents tips, case studies, and video examples.
