Description
This large type (18 point) supplementary reading book is the story of Sister Hyacinthe and Sister John who set out from the cloistered Abbey of St. Tabitha to New York to explore an estate left to their order. Upon arrival the sisters discover a fortune in the well and a strange man bleeding in a closet. The man, a former Mafia accountant, requests sanctuary; unfazed, the two unlikely sleuths give him a habit and pass him off as "Sister Ursula." With great aplomb, the Sisters cope with hippies, gurus, reactionaries and radicals. Odd events quickly sharpen their wits and when the Mafia forces return with murder in mind, they meet their match as Sister John shows what perfect faith can accomplish. FKC, 7-75.
