Description
Christopher Hitch immigrated with his family from England to Maryland, then to Virginia, to the Appalachian mountains, the Shenandoah Valley and to eastern Tennessee. One descendant, Henry Charles Hitch (1884-1921) married Christine Arena Walker in 1910, and homesteaded in Texas, County in the Oklahoma Panhandle.
