Description
This is a guide to those areas of French usage where student beginning advanced work need help in crossing the threshold from hesitancy and uncertainty to fluency and confidence. The authors highlight a large number of problems of current French usage, both of a lexical and grammatical nature, which present difficulty for the foreign learner, and set these within a framework both easy to understand and exploit. The book is divided into three main sections: vocabulary, grammar and register and style.
