Description
Painting in Texas focuses on the noteworthy frontier artists and their work. Many of these artists came to Texas even before the days of the republic when early colonization was in progress. Their portraits, prints, genre and historical paintings show the life and events associated with early Texas and the Southwest during the nineteenth century.
