Alvaro Castagnet is a highly respected watercolor artist with an international reputation. His paintings capture the essence of his subjects with passion, boldness and elegance. In this film, he travels to Antwerp and selects a range of subjects which include street views, a café interior, inside the railway station, and one of the oldest bars in Antwerp painted at night.

The Plantin-Moretus Museum is a printing plant and publishing house dating from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Situated in Antwerp--one of the three leading cities of early European printing, along with Paris and Venice--it is associated with the history of the invention and spread of typography.
