Many areas are pocked with mines, pot holes, old wells. People have met their death by falling into such places. Don't forget the desert washes that flood and the quicksand that may lurk in riverbeds, streams and water holes. Be sure your vehicle can travel the terrain successfully. Even then, be careful.
