In 1880, Auguste Rodin began the creation of set of bronze doors for a museum in Paris that was never built. Even though 'The Gates Of Hell' became Rodin's most ambitious work, taking over 20 years to complete, it was not cast in bronze until 1977; this DVD documents the casting of this eight-ton work and chronicles the life of Rodin.
