Reconstruction of music for the memorial service, Mar. 24, 1729, for Bach's Cöthen patron Prince Leopold, derived by Bach from the St. Matthew Passion and the Trauer-Ode for the Electress of Saxony (BWV 198), and set to new texts by Picander to create a sequence of four new works. With recitatives by Andrew Parrott.
